In London there are a lot of museums. One of my favorites is the V&A museum. First of all the admission is free. If you want to donate something you can, of course.
The art is fantastic, they display amongst other Jugendstil, Art Deco, 1950-1970s design, Japanese art, jewelery and clothing.
They also have a good place to eat or drink something and too top it all they have a Museum store with the most beautiful stuff ever.
It is expensive but for example, they remake Bakelite jewelery or remake 1950s pink buttons with little white dots. If you want a unique present to give someone, shop here or see them online.
