My friend baked the cakes before I came together with the filling.
For the filling we used, whipped cream, bakery cream and jam.
First cut the cake in half (horizontal) and put in the layers of filling, which ever you prefer or all of them.
Put the cake’s to rest for a moment.
Start molding the marzipan, when it’s soft unroll the marzipan with a rolling pin (first put some powdered sugar down on the table so it wound stick).
When it is really thin put it on the cake and cut away the redundant marzipan with a knife.
Now the fun part begins. Making the decorations.
We used ready to go sprinkles and homemade marzipan ones. We made them with cookie cutters and silicone molds.
When you’re done, strike the whole cake with some egg white for a shinny effect and to make the powdered sugar disappear.
