| Nijntje a Dutch Rabbit in the middle of N.Y. Kind of funny because my birth name is de Haas (translated Hare) so I was also this Dutch "Rabbit" in the middle of N.Y. City. |
New York, I have to say, it was to big for me to handle. Now I understand the phrase the bigger the better. Never ever did I see such tall/big shops in my live. I did not even dare to enter! My husband love it because of the lesser shopping I did. The park was lovely and I even saw a raccoon for the first time in my live. I thought, that's a big dog! But the pizza and the comic stores were just fab. Even got my own Star Trek t-shirt and got to see the latest Star Trek movie on the big screen. Wow, finally a city who understands Marvel and Star Trek. In Holland people always give my the asylum look when I tell them about my comic and scifi addiction. So I think I'm just American at heart and proud of it.
