The question will always be, which side will you choose. Are you a Star Trek or a Star Wars fan? (both, but if I have to choose a bit more ST) Are you a Marvel or a DC girl? (Marvel, duh!) And are you an X-box or a Nintendo hero? Nintendo all the way. When I was a little girl my parents had their own restaurant and in the corner, there it was, the Donkey Kong Atari game. One of those big ones. And if I was really lucky, I would get 1 guilder to play a game. But it did not take long before I had my own Atari game computer. But was it really mine? When I needed to go to bed but woke up at 11 o’clock, I heard beeping from the living room. So I snuck down stairs and there they were, my parents playing on the Atari. I was kind of angry but also amazed. And when my husband and I got our own place, the second summer we weren’t going on holiday, we bought our first Nintendo. We were so happy but we had to make a schedule because of Mario 64. We were so into the game we had to take turns playing. At first we agreed that when you got a star, the other one would get a turn. But that’s not really fair if 1 star takes 5 minutes and another takes 1,5 hour. So one hour each and then the other one could play. I think we played for hours, weeks and finally we had enough. But every time a new console came out, we bought it. And I have to say, I still love Nintendo above all else.
