Truffles


Sometimes you just have this desire to eat chocolate, a lot of chocolate! So I made my own truffles. You just mix 70% chocolate with mascarpone cheese, a cup of espresso coffee and a bit of brandy. Cover them up with cacao and then….start eating!

Recipe:

200 gr chocolate 70% (minimum)
50 ml espresso coffee
2 tb brandy
125 gr mascarpone
Cocoa

Chop the chocolate up to little pieces and pour the hot coffee over it. If the chocolate did not melt after stirring, put the bowl in the magnetron for 10 to 20 seconds. After it’s nice and melted put the mascarpone and the brandy throw the chocolate. Pour it into a square dish and let it rest in de fridge for 2 hours. Chop it up into nice even pieces and roll them throw the cocoa.
