Just a couple of months before we were leaving the nest (living together) my mother in law got herself a new kitchen. She asked if we wanted to have her brown fridge. It saved us a lot of money so we were happy to take it. But after a couple of months I really started to hate the color. So we took it apart. Painted the handles with a special paint (for plastic) and painted the rest of the fridge with another special paint (for iron). It really made the whole kitchen came together and everyone who came into the apartment was amazed by our “expensive” fridge.
