It’s freezing in The Netherlands (November) and in the morning even some snow felt down.
But nothing is going to stop us of having a great time outside.
This time we went to Leerdam. A little village which is famous for their glass.
First we went to the Glass museum.
There was a lot of new and really old glass put in displays. Before we left we eat some scones and apple pie in the coffee shop.
Then we went shopping. There are a lot of galleries and bric-a-brac shops in Leerdam and also a lot of regular Dutch shops like, cheese, flowers, tea and a really old fashion barber shop.
After a while we had a drink at the glassworks. You can watch people make glass the old fashion way if you want to. So after this, and a Sinterklaas parade, we went home with our newly bought glass to improve our 1950s styled home.
We had a lovely time.
